See What You Missed!

The AADP focuses on five basic components that help to strengthen the community: Business, Education, Health, Politics/Government & Arts/Culture. Each year we choose one of these sectors as our theme and we invite those that have contributed to that field to act as our Grand Marshals, Marshals, and Honorary Guests. This year the AADP theme is “GOOD HEALTH IS ESSENTIAL” and will honor individuals that have contributed to the African American community in the field of HEALTH. We are pleased to highlight those who have shown positively contributed to the success and dignity of the community and this country.

The live stream is very poor and grainy. It’s not clear or smooth. I live out of town and I’m trying to watch.

Bettine, I’m very sorry. Please accept my sincere apology. We underestimated the cell towers in the area. A multitude of spectators sent photos and videos of the parade, and others were on calls and Facetime. When we discovered the choppiness, we continued to shoot thinking the live stream would improve. We’ll be ready the next time.

Camera management was horrible! Sad I couldn’t see it because of my gout kept me home.

I tried. I can’t. This livestream is horrible. I guess the parade will be edited or maybe someone else has taken better video quality and it might be posted on YouTube tomorrow. This is my first time out of town watching and I was really looking forward to watching this parade with pride. I’m extremely disappointed. I highly recommend another company be found next year to provide quality livestream services that we deserve especially since our parade isn’t covered by mainstream media. This is just too horrendous to overcome and enjoy.

Len, my apology. However, the live stream was choppy, so we have a video highlight reel and shoutouts from dignitaries instead on https://www.harlemamerica.com.
